Granny squares are the foundation of countless crochet projects—blankets, bags, scarves, and more. In this class, you’ll learn how to create traditional and modern granny squares, mastering stitch consistency and joining techniques. This class is part of our rotating beginner crochet series.

- Step-by-step instruction on making granny squares.
- Tips for combining colors and joining squares.
- Complete a small set of squares to build into a project. (1-2 Classic Granny Square, and a Secondary Square subject to change by month so there’s always something new)
- Part of our 4-week rotating series—if you miss a class, you can jump in next month.

Due to limited class sizes and advance preparation, cancellations made online at least 7 days prior to the class receive a full refund. Within 3 days of the class, please call the store to reschedule for a future class, availability pending. No refunds for cancellations less than 3 days prior.
