Four Seasons Fused Glass Lantern Workshop

Four glass panels. Endless possibilities. One beautiful lantern!

Create a glowing work of art that's beautiful in every season! Join us at The Artisan Shop & Studio for a unique fused glass workshop where you'll design four colorful glass panels to transform a classic lantern into a one-of-a-kind decorative piece.

Choose our Four Seasons theme, creating a different design for spring, summer, fall, and winter, or let your imagination take the lead and create four completely custom panels!

Using colorful glass, frit (tiny pieces of crushed glass), and stringers (thin strands of glass), you'll explore the art of fused glass while creating designs that reflect your personal style.

Need a little inspiration? Try our Four Seasons designs:
• Spring: Colorful wildflowers, butterflies, or blooming branches
• Summer: Sunflowers, mountain landscapes, or bright summer skies
• Fall: Golden aspens, falling leaves, or autumn landscapes
• Winter: Snow-covered trees, snowflakes, or peaceful winter scenes

Prefer something different? Create botanical designs, colorful abstract patterns, geometric artwork, or any combination you love!

This is a two-part creative experience!

Part 1 – Design Your Glass Panels

During your scheduled class, our instructor will guide you through the basics of fused glass as you design and assemble four individual glass panels. We'll provide the glass, frit, stringers, and tools needed to bring your ideas to life.

After class, we'll carefully fire your panels in our kiln, permanently fusing the glass into beautiful finished pieces.

Part 2 – Assemble Your Lantern

Once your glass panels have been fired and cooled, you'll return to the studio at your convenience during normal business hours. Our team will show you how to install your finished panels into your lantern, creating a beautiful decorative piece ready to display!

What's Included:
• One decorative lantern
• Four fused glass panels to design and create
• Colorful glass, frit, stringers, and all necessary supplies
• Step-by-step instruction
• Kiln firing of all four panels
• A return visit for lantern assembly
• Your completed lantern to take home

No fused glass experience necessary! Whether you're brand new to glass art or have taken one of our classes before, this workshop is a wonderful opportunity to explore your creativity and make something truly special.
