Whispers in the Wind: Hand-Built Clay Wind Chime Workshop

Create a beautiful ceramic wind chime that's as unique as your imagination. Using a combination of handbuilding techniques—including pinch pots, slab building, and coiling—you'll design and sculpt a one-of-a-kind wind chime featuring mushrooms, flowers, leaves, whimsical creatures, or any design that inspires you.

Whether you're new to clay or have previous experience, this relaxing class is a wonderful introduction to handbuilding while creating a functional piece of garden art you'll enjoy for years to come.

No experience is necessary — we'll guide you through every step.

What You'll Make
• One custom ceramic wind chime

Every wind chime is individually designed, and no two projects are alike. Bring your imagination! If you already have a design idea in mind, we'd love to help you bring it to life. If not, we'll have plenty of inspiration and guidance to help you create something uniquely yours.

The featured photo is representative only. Your finished wind chime will reflect your own creativity and personal style.

What To Expect
• Learn beginner-friendly clay handbuilding techniques, including pinch pots, slab construction, and coiling
• Shape, texture, and assemble the individual pieces of your wind chime
• Explore creative design ideas inspired by nature, whimsical themes, or your own imagination
• Enjoy a relaxed, supportive environment where creativity is encouraged
• Return approximately 2 weeks after class to glaze your finished pieces during regular business hours

After your glazed pieces have been kiln-fired, they'll be ready for pickup approximately 1 week later. Hanging cord and assembly materials are included so you can assemble your completed wind chime at home.

Participants under 12 are welcome when accompanied by a participating parent or guardian.

Cancellation Policy
Due to limited class sizes and advance preparation, cancellations made online at least 7 days prior to the class receive a full refund.

Within 3 days of the class, please call the store to reschedule for a future class (availability pending).

No refunds for cancellations made less than 3 days prior to the class.
