Stitch Smart: Intro to Sewing

Build foundational sewing skills in a structured and beginner-friendly environment. This class introduces essential machine techniques and fabric handling skills designed to help new sewists gain confidence and control.
No experience is necessary — we’ll guide you through every step.
What You’ll Make
• A beginner-friendly sewing project designed to reinforce foundational techniques
What To Expect
• Introduction to sewing machine basics
• Guidance on threading, tension, and stitch selection
• Practice sewing straight seams and pivoting corners
• Instruction on fabric control and seam finishing
• Support throughout the project from start to completion
This class provides the foundation needed before moving into structured sewing projects such as the Tuesday Tote.

• Sewing machine in good working order (with extra bobbins and needles)
