Spin & Shape: Ladies Night on the Wheel

Enjoy an evening of creativity and connection while learning the fundamentals of pottery wheel throwing. This wheel-only class is designed for a relaxed, supportive environment where participants can explore clay, build skill, and enjoy the experience together.

No experience is necessary — we’ll guide you through every step.

What You’ll Make
• Multiple wheel-thrown pottery pieces depending on pace and ability

What To Expect
• Demonstration of foundational wheel throwing techniques
• Guided instruction in centering and shaping clay
• Individual support throughout the throwing process
• Emphasis on enjoying the experience while learning a new skill
• Clear explanation of drying, firing, and glazing timeline

Participants will return in approximately 2 weeks to glaze their pieces. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup about 1 week after glazing.

• Pottery wheel use

• Kiln bisque firing
• Glazes (during glazing session)
• Final kiln firing
• Instruction and hands-on support
