Fields of Gold: Summer Sunflowers Fused Glass

Celebrate the beauty of late summer by creating a vibrant fused glass sunflower panel! In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the basics of glass fusing while designing a colorful 5" × 7" piece inspired by blooming sunflowers and sunny days.

Using pre-cut glass shapes along with a selection of colorful fusible glass, you'll arrange your own unique design before your artwork is kiln-fired into a finished keepsake that's perfect for displaying in your home.

No experience is necessary — we'll guide you through every step.

What You'll Make
• One 5" × 7" fused glass sunflower art panel

Each project is unique, and you'll have opportunities to personalize your design with your own colors and artistic style. The featured photo is representative only, and instructors are happy to help you create your own design within the class parameters.

What To Expect
• Introduction to the basics of fused glass art
• Learn about glass safety, layering, and composition
• Work with pre-cut fusible glass, frit, stringers, and decorative accents
• Design and assemble your own unique sunflower-inspired artwork
• Guidance throughout the creative process from design to kiln preparation

Students do not cut glass during this class. All glass is pre-cut and prepared, allowing you to focus on designing and assembling your artwork.

Your completed piece will be kiln-fired after class and will be ready for pickup approximately 1 week later.

• Kiln firing
